Operation Viper

3-4 September 2022: Combat Mission, Catterick OBUA

Location: Sagoa, IVO N’Djamena, Chad

After years of unrest the central African country of Chad remains in chaos. Thousands are dead, dying or displaced from the fighting and subsequent humanitarian crisis caused by the brutal Azearian leadership that still seeks to establish an Azearian State across all of Africa.

JCTSF continues to conduct counter-terrorism and security operations across Africa and assisting the African Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), despite being pushed out of several locations by central African governments who fear retaliation from Azearian militias.

It has recently come to light that the Azearian State terror group outsources its complex system of financing and extortion to an elusive financier known as Al-Muhasab, or “The Accountant”. JCTSF operations in recent weeks have linked Al-Muhasad to an Azearian militia operating out of a safehouse in the suburbs of the Chad capital N’Djamena.

Any mission conducted in this area is considered high risk due to the hostility of the CIVPOP, as well as the proximity of Azearian reinforcements in N’Djamena, but Al-Muhasad is a high priority target.

And so, deploying from just across the border in Kousseri, Cameroon, TF34, JCTSF are tasked to enter the town of Sagoa and capture the Lieutenants of the AS militia, as well as its commander, Fayha Hamed Shareef, a known associate of Al-Muhasab.
