Location: Mindanao, South Philippines 

With the Azearian State’s increasing interest in expanding influence, they have initiated a covert collaboration with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) in the southern Philippines. This partnership is presented as a strategic alliance aimed at improving the MILF’s paramilitary capabilities and increasing regional instability in Mindanao. The training camps, run by AS military advisors, are focusing on advanced warfare tactics, terrorism, and insurgency operations.

However, there are darker, more nefarious elements at play. Unbeknownst to the MILF leadership, Azearian military trainers are using these camps to indoctrinate select MILF factions in preparing for more global operations, using previously unidentified operators as clean skins.

A joint training exercise involving British Special Forces (UKSF), specifically G Squadron 22 SAS, is scheduled in the Philippines. This training exercise alongside the Filipino Special Forces Regiment (FSR) aims to improve joint operations and share counterinsurgency techniques. The Filipino government, while wary of foreign influence, welcomes the collaboration as part of ongoing counterterrorism efforts.

The British SAS, as part of their routine intelligence-gathering during joint operations, has intercepted a communication from a MILF faction they know to be collaborating with Azearian personnel. Through further analysis, they have uncovered plans that indicate a hidden agenda. A small, elite faction within the MILF has been receiving specialized training for global operations — large-scale “spectacular” attacks aimed at international targets, designed to send shockwaves through global markets, governments, and international law enforcement communities.

UK intelligence operatives, alongside their Filipino counterparts, have located one of the Azearian-established training camps in a remote part of Mindanao. Satellite imagery and intercepted communications point to unusual activity: a significant increase in advanced weapons training, cryptic discussions about targeting Western interests, and evidence of non-standard explosives training. The intelligence community believes this faction has aligned itself with the Azearian State’s covert goals to project power and disrupt international order.
