Operation Dreadnought

11-12 February 2023: Combat Mission, The Trees

Location: Shumanay, IVO Nukus, Uzbekistan

Following the seizure of a fully assembled CBRN weapon during Operation Redmire 2, elements of Harakat al-Azearian al-Britania (HAB) managed to flee the Waziristan region with explosives specialists from within their own ranks and the Taliban in tow.

SSE analysis has confirmed there are more component parts being distributed, potentially with enough materials to make another device. It is believed that the HAB are moving to meet with members of the Azearian Front of Dagestan (AFD) to share their expertise on explosives and weapons technology.

G Squadron, SAS and A Squadron, 1st SFOD-D have been tasked to pursue the escaping members of the HAB. Ground assets last report puts them inside Uzbekistan, moving to link up with contacts near Nukus, where safe passage to the coast and across the Caspian Sea to Azerbaijan has been arranged.

SI7 and CIA intel from local assets claims that they will continue across land, cross the border into Turkmenistan, before being moved by boat from Bekdash on the coast.

Paramilitaries from CIA and SI7 will attempt to locate and eliminate the group before their meet in Nukus, while the UK and US SF units will move ahead to Shumanay and stop them before they can cross into Turkmenistan. Shumanay is a remote wild region and a known crossing point for drug smugglers and people traffickers, so the utmost urgency is required for a successful intercept.
