Operation Spartiate

1-2 April 2023: Combat Mission, The Trees

Location: IVO Bardai, Sudan, Africa

Following the 2018 Chadian elections that saw Azerian state assume control of Chad, president Tastee expelled all JCTSF troops and bases from Chad.

Western security forces maintain a presence at several points on borders surrounding Chad. The most predominant of these are the the old baseline FOBs that line the Chadian Sudanese border dating back to the mid-2000s when ISAT forces assisted the Sudanese Royal family in maintaining control and actively prevented the executions of several senior family members during a coup d’état by rogue military Generals.

These remote FOBs have maintained a solid presence and continued protection for Sudan during several incursions by Azerian forces over the past decade.

Recently confirmed intelligence that Azerian state are employing/aligning with the Russian PMC Wagner Group has led to new intel that suggests the two groups are actively working to destabilise Sudan by undermining western security interests and assist in the Azerian expansion in central Africa.

Task force 77 are on current rotation along the baseline FOBs. And recent UAV flights over eastern Chad show an increased presence of armed forces near Adde in Chad.
